The Nigerian Military Issued A Dire Warning To Anybody Advocating For A Coup.
Nigerians advocating for coup d’état have been forewarned by General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff, to halt or face legal repercussions.
Musa, who referred to the supporters of the coup as Nigeria’s adversaries, reiterated the military’s pledge to uphold democracy in the nation.

In response to questioning from reporters on Wednesday, Musa declared, “Whoever is making that call (coup) does not love Nigeria.” We wish to be absolutely clear that the Nigerian Armed Forces are present to defend democracy.
“We all want democracy and we do better under democracy. And so we will continue to support democracy. And any of those ones that are calling for anything other than democracy are evil people and I think they don’t mean well for Nigeria.”

“They should be very careful because the law will come after them. We can see that with democracy, a lot of things are happening in Nigeria. Yes, we are going through trying periods, I mean in life, nothing is hundred per cent.”
The CDS continued, saying: “Everyone experiences difficult times in life; what matters is how you handle them.” It is evident that the administration is working hard to make sure we do better.

When you overcome obstacles and emerge stronger, you will truly understand what it takes to establish a nation. We are thus going through a difficult time, but I can guarantee Nigerians that things will improve.
“To ensure that we defeat those enemies of the government and this country who do not want us to succeed, all we need to do is put our hands together.”
“We will undoubtedly succeed, and the Armed Forces are here to support the Government in making sure that Nigeria develops, prospers, and experiences peace.”
