The former chairman of the state’s Park Management System, Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Auxiliary, was placed under detention at the Agodi Correctional Center on Thursday due to accusations of murder by an Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Citing jurisdictional limitations, Chief Magistrate Olabisi Ogunkanmi granted the remand order for the 63-year-old defendant.
