Shan George, an actress, recovers N3.6 million that was taken from her account

Shan George, a seasoned Nollywood actress, has recovered N3.6 million that was taken on May 3 from her Zenith Bank account.

On Thursday, the actress made her revelation in a live Instagram broadcast.

She also expressed her gratitude to Nigerians, Opay, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Zenith Bank, and everyone else who helped her out financially as she tried to get her money back.

“Zenith Bank, I would like to thank you for your prompt action. I express my gratitude to Opay for their transparency.

She added, “I also want to thank the Nigeria Police, EFCC, and Safe Haven Bank.

The actress pledged to provide additional details on the incident’s unfolding and her financial recovery.

The PUNCH previously revealed that the actress used her Instagram account to cry out for assistance after someone going by the name of Cecilia Chiagoziem Okoro withdrew N3.6 million from her Zenith Bank account.

The starlet responded, “I need help cos I’m dy!ng,” along with a screenshot of the debit alert. My account has just been cleared by this guy.

“Please, my people, everyone please help. Please, Zenith Bank, Reverse it. I can’t access my app. I’m De@D.”

George appealed for help, saying, “Cecilia Chiagoziem Okoro, is the name of the person that has just wiped all the money in my account, 3.6 million, into an Opay account.

“I am begging everybody, please Zenith bank, Opay, Abeg make una help me. I take God beg una.

“I don’t have any kobo anywhere again. What will I eat? I no fit beg, I beg una, make una help me.”
