OFFICIAL: Mbappé signs five-year contract with Real Madrid

On Monday, Real Madrid revealed that Kylian Mbappé, a French sensation, had joined the team.

The 25-year-old attacker and the Spanish powerhouses have come to a deal that will see him play for the next five seasons in the famous white jersey.

Real Madrid released the following official statement: “Official statement. 03/06/2024: Kylian Mbappé and Real Madrid C.F. have agreed that he will play for Real Madrid for the upcoming five seasons.

Le Parisien, a Spanish media outlet, has reported that Mbappé, who is considered one of the world’s best finishers, will initially wear the number 9 shirt at Real Madrid.

But according to the source, Kylian Mbappé will don the number 9 shirt in his debut campaign with Real Madrid. Luka Modrić will then give the number 10 shirt back to him when the Croatian departs in 2025.

Mbappé had earlier confirmed his exit from the team by removing Paris Saint-Germain from his Instagram bio.
