Nnadozie wins the French keeper’s prize once more
In the French women’s top division, Chiamaka Nnadozie became the first African to win the National Union of Professional Footballers award for best goalkeeper.
Nnadozie received recognition for her outstanding performances for Paris FC during the 2023–2024 campaign.

The Nigerian international won the individual title by defeating a formidable competition that includes Christiane Endler of Olympic Lyon, Katarzyna Kiedrzynek of PSG, Chloe N’Gazi of FC Fleury, and Kinga Szemik of Stade de Reims.
The 23-year-old also won last month’s French D1 Arkema women’s league goalie of the year award.
Nnadozie’s exploits in saving penalties have solidified her place among the world’s top goalkeepers.

This season, she has the most penalty saves of any goalie in Europe—seven.
The 23-year-old has made a name for herself as one of Europe’s top goalkeepers after relocating to France in 2020.

Since the beginning of the 2023–24 season, she has been the top penalty specialist and has made the most saves from her position among elite goalkeepers in the men’s and women’s top European leagues.
Nnadozie has made five saves during her team’s incredible run in the Women’s Champions League, and she has two in the league.
