In April, PUNCH Online revealed that a tanker explosion near the Eleme portion of the East-West Road in Rivers State resulted in the burning of over seventy cars and the confirmed death of five persons.
According to reports, the event happened after a heavy-duty truck and a tanker carrying gasoline collided, causing the tanker’s contents to spill and catch fire.
