“Hopefully more clinical” – Pochettino declares his verdict in regards to the Chelsea player
Following his team’s 3-2 victory over Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge last night, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has made his verdict on one Chelsea player.
This season, it was a matchup between the two unreliable mid-table teams, and either team may have won. In the first half, Chelsea played poorly and Newcastle played well; however, in the second half, the roles were reversed, with Chelsea playing well and Newcastle poorly.

In addition to having another solid performance, striker Nicolas Jackson also managed to get on the scoreboard by deftly backheeling a Cole Palmer shot that ended up being an assist.
Jackson is beginning to settle in and gain confidence while wearing a Chelsea shirt. He has been getting better and better in recent games.
According to his manager, Mauricio Pochettino, this change in form should help him become more clinical in front of goal.

Pochettino addressed Jackson, saying, “We need to understand players are young, they need to know first the Premier League and they need their teammates to perform,” according to quotes that Football London obtained. He’s doing a great job. He is, of course, talented. He will become more composed and, ideally, more clinical in front of the goal with more games and experience.
