Expulsion: KWASU expels 175 students
According to the management of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, 175 students have been expelled for a variety of offenses.
This is stated in a statement released on Tuesday by Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, Director of University Relations.

The leadership of the institution stated that the expulsion decision was granted based on the suggestions made by the Students’ Disciplinary Committee, which met from October 2021 to March 2024.
According to the management, the expelled students were punished for a variety of offenses, including cheating on exams, stealing, obtaining admission by presenting false documents, assault, fraud, membership in unregistered associations, and gun possession.

”The management of KWASU wishes to reiterate its zero-tolerance for all acts of indiscipline as the institution stands firm on producing graduates, who are excellent both in character and in learning,” Aliyu stated.
