Canada finds two adults and four children dead.

At a home in the Ottawa outskirts of the Canadian capital, two adults and four children have been found dead, and a suspect has been taken into custody, police reported on Thursday.

There were no specifics given. In a statement, the police stated that “a tragic and complex investigation” was in progress.

They stated that they discovered the dead bodies inside a Canadian home in the Barrhaven neighbourhood shortly before 11 p.m. on Wednesday (0400 GMT Thursday).

On site, a suspect was taken into custody. The statement went on to say, “There is no ongoing threat to public safety.”
