BREAKING: CHIMA WINS Nigerian Idol season 9

The winner of the ninth season of Nigerian Idol, a popular music reality show, is a contestant named Chima.

After several weeks of intensive training and intense performances, Chima was crowned the winner of season nine of the show.

According to The PUNCH, Chima, Lammy, and Chioma, the three finalists, had to endure numerous “battles” in order to reach the final. As a result, their respective followers are extremely anxious and hoping that their “faves” will prevail this evening.

Every competitor gave their all throughout their final performance in an effort to persuade the judges and audience that they were deserving of the coveted award.

In their most recent performance, Chioma impressed the judges with her emotional renditions of As by Stevie Wonder and Not the Girl by Dare Art Alade. She also enthralled the audience with her performance of Jennifer Hudson’s One Night Only and Jodie’s Kuchi Kuchi. The visitors also appreciated Lammy’s emotional rendition of African Queen by 2baba (previously 2face) and Alexander Burke’s Hallelujah.
