Breaking: At the Lagos airport, XEJET Airlines skids off the runway
Just sixteen days had passed since the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authorities closed down Dana Air when an additional Nigerian aircraft, registered as XEJET Airlines, likewise slid the runway and came to rest in the grass.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria closed the Murtala Muhammed Airport’s 18/Left runway in response to this event.

At 11:29 a.m., the 52-person Airbus with registration 5N-BZZ left Abuja and touched down in Lagos.
The incident was verified by the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau.

The National Security Investigation Bureau (NSIB) said that the Xejet Airlines plane skidded off the Murtala Muhammed Airport’s domestic runway.
