Sa’idu Dakingari, the 2024 Amirul Hajj (head of pilgrims) in Kebbi, has tasked aspiring pilgrims with preserving Nigeria’s reputation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as Kebbi State.

Additionally, Dakingari urged them to manage their finances wisely because they were essential to their survival in the holy country.

He made this claim on Friday at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport in Birnin Kebbi, as he said goodbye to the state’s second aircraft of intended pilgrims.

About nine o’clock at night, the second flight, carrying 430 passengers, took off for Madina.

Along with a few officials, the plane carried intended pilgrims from the local government areas of Dandi and Argungu.

Amirul Hajj said, “Your attitude will determine who you are. The more positive your attitude is, the better for Nigeria.

”Therefore, try to be good ambassadors of Kebbi and Nigeria at large. Because, without money, there is no way you can perform a smooth Hajj.

“Your money is your sustenance, hence the need to be very vigilant, ensure that you properly and safely keep your money, so that you don’t become a liability to anybody in the holy land.”

The state’s former governor prayed for the pilgrims to have a successful Hajj.

Kebbi pilgrims who were supposed to board the inaugural flight to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Thursday departed for the 2024 Hajj practice.

At Birnin Kebbi’s Sir Muhammadu Bello International Airport, the airlift of Nigerian pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2024 Hajj activity began.
