The 10th AMVCA, according to Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and Channels, MultiChoice, West Africa, is a celebration of ten years of creativity, ingenuity, and the sheer magic of African storytelling on screen.
The AMVCA has made a name for itself as the gold standard for excellence in the African cinema business, the speaker stated. This edition honors the legacy of an award that has advanced careers and encouraged the development of talent throughout the continent in addition to celebrating cinematic excellence.
Tejumola also disclosed that the chief judge and jury were overworked this year due to the large number of excellent entries they had to go through.

“We want Africa to join in this celebration in collaboration with our sponsors, Amstel, Pepsi, Promasidor, and Martell. The celebration kicks off on March 24 at 8 p.m. with the announcement of the final nominees in each category.
