After criticism from the AFCON, Iwobi returns to Instagram.
Alex Iwobi, a player for the Super Eagles, has finally made his way back onto Instagram.
This came after he just removed all of the postings from his account due to criticism aimed at him following the team’s loss to Ivory Coast in the recently finished Africa Cup of Nations final.

The Fulham midfield player was the victim of cyberbullying because of what Nigerian fans thought was a lackluster midfield display during the match.
He was blamed by some Nigerians, which led to a flurry of threats and insults on his Instagram page.
The 27-year-old decided to remove over a hundred posts from his profile as a reaction.

On Saturday night, though, the football player posted a video to his account.
Alex Iwobi teased fans with a sneak peek at what appeared to be an unreleased rap tune in the video.
The segment included excerpts from his football games, in which, among other things, he was gushing about his confidence and contempt for anybody who thought he wasn’t good enough.

The Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Enoh, was one of many who spoke out in favor of Iwobi and encouraged him to maintain his composure following Nigeria’s defeat to Ivory Coast in the championship game.
In addition, Alex Iwobi received support from his uncle Austin Jay Jay Okocha and football player Ahmed Musa, among others, who pushed the attackers to give up.
