A while back, videos of well-known musician Joshua Iniyezo, better known by his stage name Solid Star, seeming filthy and aimlessly strolling along the street went viral, much to the astonishment of many. Joseph, the singer’s brother, who uploaded the video, claimed that the singer was suffering from a heroin addiction.

But Solid Star claimed in an interview with Saturday Beats that he was no longer dependent on such drugs and that he no longer used them. “I am very well and healthy now,” he declared. Even though I’ve been out of the hospital for four months, I continue to take my medication. I no longer use drink or smoke. I now keep things simple. I’m doing great; I’m trying to bring my positive energy back and get the globe dancing. I am prepared for my followers, and I have a studio at my residence. Like I always do, I’ve been putting forth a lot of effort to make sure I play high-caliber music.

When asked what lessons he had learned from his experience, the singer of “Omotena” replied, “I have learned not to be by myself all the time because communication is very important.” I got depressed since I was always alone and began to consider everyone around me as adversaries. I now know how to love and be upbeat.

When asked if his coworkers had helped him through difficult times, he replied, “Yes, friends, coworkers, fans, and family did support me.” In reality, their assistance made my hospital stay more bearable, and I am grateful to each and every one of them for that. I would have had a horrible hospital stay if they hadn’t helped. But thanks of them, I was able to eat well and pay my bills.
