A two-day barbering workshop is organized by Asake's Barber and costs N500,000 per slot

Asake’s barber, Adeyinka Taofeek Temitope, also known as Topzycut, has announced the opening of his barbering master class, which is intended to assist people in honing their barbering techniques.

The course offers a thorough learning experience that goes beyond the fundamentals and is tailored to meet the needs of both novice and experienced barbers.

The two-day master class is anticipated to cost N500,000, as stated in a post on his Instagram profile on Wednesday.

The chance to learn how to grasp the fundamentals, advance their abilities, and build their brand value will be provided to the participants.

Topzycut urged potential participants to take advantage of the opportunity in his announcement.

He wrote, “Elevate your craft in just two days! Join our Barbing Masterclass for aspiring stylists and seasoned barbers looking to sharpen their skills. Don’t miss this opportunity to perfect your artistry.”

Participants will get a “certificate of participation, barber’s kit set, and 60 days of one-on-one mentorship.”

2020 saw the rise in popularity of Topzycut’s distinctive and avant-garde hairstyles and designs on clientele’s hair.

After his distinctive and creative hairstyling and designs on customers’ hair went viral, this attracted the attention of the general public as well as that of several celebrities, including Davido, BurnaBoy, and Asake.

Topzycut stated that he began his barbering career while studying fine arts at Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State in an interview with PUNCH in 2022.

He claimed to have collaborated with a number of well-known performers, including Burnaboy, Bnxn (formerly known as Buju), Darey, Larry Gaga, Black Sheriff, Qdot, Dj Obi Asake, and jeweler Godson Umeh. Along with other international celebrities, I have collaborated with American rapper Travis Lashley, popularly known as Trav.

He said that his fees for in-home services were approximately $100.

Now serving only home and mobile clients, Topzycut now serves celebrities.

Burna Boy flew him out to get a haircut in 2022.
