Naira appreciates by 0.67% against dollar at official market

After a three-day trading loss, the Naira recovered and was trading at N1,678.93 versus the dollar on Tuesday at the official market.

The FMDQ Exchange’s official trading platform showed that the value of the Naira increased by N11.44.

This is a 0.67 percent increase over Monday’s previous trading date, when it was trading at N1,690.37 to the dollar.

Nevertheless, Tuesday’s total daily turnover dropped from Monday’s 173.14 million dollars to 128.59 million dollars.

Between N1,698 and N1,631 versus the dollar, the Naira fluctuated during the Investors and Exporters (I&E) session. (NAN)
