Joshua’s career income reached $200 million
The PUNCH says that Anthony Joshua has eclipsed heavyweight rival Tyson Fury and up-and-coming fighter Gervonta Davis to become one of boxing’s greatest earners after breaking the $200 million career earnings milestone.
The former two-time heavyweight champion came in second only to Canelo Alvarez in terms of yearly earnings, earning $75 million from matches in 2024 alone. Although the Mexican champion equaled Joshua’s fight purse, he made $2 million more off the field.

Fury, 36, earned $50 million in 2024, bringing his career earnings to $150 million, far less than Joshua’s staggering sum.
Since making his professional debut, Davis, 30, has amassed $50 million, with his most recent fights against Ryan Garcia and Frank Martin adding about $20 million to his fortune. Garcia has made over $40 million in his career and has become a pay-per-view celebrity.
Joshua’s rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr. in Saudi Arabia, where he earned $65 million, was a significant turning point in his financial rise. The first two of his fights with Oleksandr Usyk brought in over $40 million.

The Watford-born fighter’s profits were further enhanced by his well-publicized bout with Francis Ngannou last year, which brought in an additional $50 million. Additional payouts include the $12 million purses won in back-to-back bouts against Robert Helenius and Jermaine Franklin, as well as comparable profits from six incredible performances at the Principality Stadium and Wembley.
Joshua, 35, is currently recovering from injuries sustained in his recent defeat to Daniel Dubois and is considering a fight with Fury. Before taking any further action, the two-time world champion is awaiting the result of Usyk vs. Fury 2.
If the all-British bout happens, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, who has one fight left on his Riyadh Season contract, is anticipated to make a high offer.

Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, reportedly stated that the boxer will not fight again until at least May 2024, ruling out a rematch with IBF heavyweight champion Dubois right away.
“We got one last chapter in this career that we need to make sure we get 100 per cent spot on,” Hearn told Boxing News. “When he comes back in May or June or whenever that’s going to be, you have to be physically and mentally 100 per cent ready.”
