Men’s Olympic football schedule for Paris 2024
With 16 teams from across the world participating in seven French cities, the men’s football competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris is sure to be an exciting show.
The competition, which takes place from July 24 to August 9, features both up-and-coming athletes and well-known celebrities competing for Olympic gold.

The four groups that the teams are placed in determine which two go on to the knockout phases, which end with the gold medal match held at Paris’ famous Parc des Princes.
Teams will be eager to build on the lessons learned from Tokyo as the 2024 event draws near and establish themselves in the much awaited Paris edition.
Matches for the 16 teams in the tournament will take place in seven French cities: Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Saint-Etienne, Nice, and Nantes. The teams are split into four groups.

Stages of Knockout: On August 2, the top two teams from each group will move on to the quarterfinals.
August 6 is when the semifinals will take place.
The gold medal game is scheduled on August 9 in Paris’s Parc des Princes.

According to PUNCH Online, there was a remarkable range of performances in the final men’s football competition of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, which was rescheduled for 2021 because to the COVID-19 epidemic.
