JUST IN: JAMB Releases UTME Additional Results
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced the results of applicants who took part in the supplementary Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on June 21 and 22, 2024.
Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the board’s spokesperson, announced this in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja.

According to JAMB, 28,835 applicants who were unable to produce biometric verification during the main 2024 UTME attempted the supplemental exam.
In a similar vein, the board noted that students who were given a second chance to sit the exam but were suspected of indulging in examination misconduct during the main UTME made up the other group of candidates.
“The exercise, which recorded a huge success nationwide, was marked by heightened security measures put in place by the board to preclude any instance of examination infractions.

“As such, some nefarious characters who had attempted to impersonate bona fide candidates were apprehended and handed over to law enforcement agencies for further investigation and prosecution,” the board noted.
It stated that it will continue to ensure that no applicant benefits from any acts of violations by deploying cutting-edge technologies before, during, and after examinations.
JAMB, therefore, encouraged applicants to desist from indulging in any type of impropriety during their examinations.

The board also prohibited candidates from seeking score upgrades from fraudsters or mutilating their result sheets in order to produce false result sheets with better scores.
It also recommended candidates to check their supplementary UTME results by texting UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019, using the same phone number they used to get their profile numbers at the beginning of registration.
