EFCC arrests 23 internet fraudsters in Enugu
In Enugu State, agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s Enugu Zonal Command have taken 23 alleged online scammers into custody.
This was revealed by the EFCC on Wednesday in a post on X.com.

The statement partly read, “The suspects were arrested on May 10, 2024 in Igboeze, Nsukka and Enugu metropolis following actionable intelligence concerning their alleged online criminal activities.
“Items recovered from them include; three cars, mobile phones, laptops, one Point Of Sale (POS) machine and several incriminating documents.

“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.”
In a similar vein, PUNCH Online revealed last Friday that 108 suspected online scammers were taken into custody by EFCC agents during two different operations in the states of Cross River and Osun.
