PHOTOS: Rioters fight and burn down a market in Lagos

A brawl between thugs in Lagos State’s Ile-Epo area left many injured.

Punch Metro learned that a brawl broke out in the neighborhood’s market on Wednesday night and lasted till Thursday morning.

A few stores were set on fire, resulting in the destruction of some items.

After visiting the scene, our correspondent learned that the thugs were preventing the police from intervening sooner.

After being showered with stones, a fire department truck that entered the market this morning was likewise compelled to reverse.
